About Department of Computer Science & Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at BSMRSTUP started its journey on October 29, 2024, as part of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. At present, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers only the Department of CSE. It is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and fostering research in various computing fields. As a newly established department, CSE offers a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. The department aims to provide a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. The undergraduate program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to succeed in the rapidly changing technology sector. The curriculum covers essential topics, including programming languages, algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity, all tailored to meet the demands of the modern tech industry. Emphasizing hands-on learning through labs, projects, and real-world applications, the department ensures students are fully prepared for the challenges they will encounter in their professional careers. Currently, the CSE department has four faculty members who are highly qualified and dedicated professionals, committed to providing students with a rich and engaging learning experience.
